Sirikit II

I’m now just back from the trip to Port Camargue to fix up Sirikit ready for sailing in the spring. Sadly whilst I was away I got sick for two days so there are a fair amount of jobs left to do. But the engine doesn’t appear to leak oil now and the new bilge pump/ solar panel / engine hatch combo should hopefully prevent the boat from filling with rainwater again!

Volunteers who like sanding sought for an extra trip to finish up the last remaining tasks sometime in early March.

Trip to Montpellier is a maintenance visit on 1 Feb, ably assisted by Harv. We’re making Sirikit ready to go to sea again: repairing the engine, finishing the new headlining, fitting new stuff to prevent leaves making the boat fill with water and a shiny new chart plotter.
